This is the first of my periodic "WHO SAID THAT..." Quotes. I almost feel guilty - this first one is pretty easy. But they'll get tougher. I promise.

    Welcome to the fray(ed). You're just about half right. But it was Scott v Sanford, decided March 6, 1857. The quote was from Chief Justice Roger B. Taney. It's considered one of the decisions that lead to the Civil War.
